About Us

Accu RX, Inc. is a “full” service Ophthalmic Laboratory, and is based in Johnston, RI.

In 1986, Nicholas Masi, RDO and CEO opened the front door to Accu RX, Inc. His dream was to offer the eye care practioners in the Northeast customized service, quality and price. Accu RX, Inc. grew in employee status over the years with professional customer service people, experienced lab personnel, and the “state of art equipment” that is the cornerstone for one of the most devoted labs in the Northeast.

Accu RX, Inc. offers quite a “package” to all accounts. The Accu-Direct Connection, which is “exclusively” Accu RX’s own door-to-door courier service, insures a “quicker” turnaround delivery for all our accounts. Accu RX, Inc. also offers standard day courier for accounts as well.

Accu RX maintains 40 employees on their payroll, with 3 licensed registered opticians.

Sales

Joyce A. DeCosta, RDO, is the National Sales Manager, ABO certified speaker, and is a Mass/RI Licensed Optician.
Gracanne Bochter has been in the optical industry with Safilo and brings a wealth of knowledge in sales and marketing. She is the Metro Boston/Cape Cod and RI Sales Representative.
Karen Smith was with Marchon for over 10 years and brings to the table a tremendous amount of experience in optical sales. Karen is our Conneticut and Western Mass Sales Representative.
Erin Proulx, ABOC, is an ABO certified speaker and was account manager for Ciba Vision and account executive for Eyeweb, Inc. Erin is AccuRx's Sales Representative for Northern Mass, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
